Happy Birthday America!

The men in this room risked their lives, their possessions, and everything they held dear to building the United States of America so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today.  They knew that as soon as they signed the Declaration of Independence that life would never be the same and their country would enter into war with little means to fight a much older nation.  Because of them we have rights to vote and have a say in our leaders who lead the country, freedom of religion, and freedom and right to become better than our status as we are born.  The lines, "pursuit to happiness" does not mean that all will be happy but we have the right and the freedom to choose for ourselves to have true happiness.

May we study the declaration and the constitution more so that we can uphold the truths.  True principles are timeless and those principles have been fought by the adversary and those defending these principles since the world began.  Satan and his followers know their lot.  "Choose you this day whom he will serve."Joshua 24:15  Defend your rights and freedoms.  Teach your children to pray for those in office that they may be guided to the Lord's will.  Pray, Read your scriptures and "establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God."D&C 109 "...that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day."D&C 4:2
